yavas-olmaliOne Must Be Slow, and Hear the Smallest Voices
2014

I’m crawling on this ground, hoping to find a light that embraces the darkness.
Somewhere between my heart and my shell I created a reality,
It’s for single use only.
What I sense fights with what I’ve been told,
So I only feed myself with the stories untold.
And they whisper to me:
You are always late, according to some.
Though you still chose to believe you will be there in time.
I now find the courage to reply, I don’t care if I’m the forsaken one.
I am never sorry. Things that I’ve missed were not mine to begin with.
